With 20+ years of professional experience as a business designer and brand strategist, I have created and reinvented numerous national and global brands by bridging business with creativity.

I like to envision myself as an interpreter between two opposites:

  • The left and the right side of the brain

  • Creativity and logic

  • Business and sustainability

  • Design and users

  • Brands and consumers

  • Present and possible futures

I'm an empathic negotiator and a bridge builder who often wonders between old artifacts and new technologies.

Born in Lisbon (1979); grew up in Macau - China (1982/87); lived in Milan and Turin (2004/06). Currently based in Lisbon.

MY BELIEFS:

Know the truth.

Decisions based on quantitative and qualitative data.

Make beauty.

Customer-centric products, services, and experiences.

Do good.

Sustainable products, services, experiences, brands, and companies to positively impact business, people, communities, environment, future.

B-sides

  • 50's & 60's Vintage Skateboards Collection

I am interested in vintage skateboards not only as historical pieces but particularly in the emotional relationship established with the object at two stages: past and present. Be it the nostalgic memory of freedom and rebellion associated with our youth, or how a skateboard awakens the child within us even today.

Basically what attracts me is how the “new” transforms, while the “old” soothes the soul.

  • Music & Sound Design

From a very early age, music is a way of expressing myself. Rebel expression while a teenager, creative expression during adulthood, and above all, a form of meditation when jamming with friends.

  • Long exposure photography

Every long exposure is my way to reconnect and a chance to feel part of those places.

The time spent taking those pictures makes them engraved in my brain.

Every photography is full of silence, fear, and the smell of pipe tobacco.

  • Playing with Error

“The Panoramist” explores the "error" of the panorama function on the iPhones by playing the variables time and movement. In the meantime, I switched to Android, so the project stalled.

  • Digital Landscapes

Creating digital landscapes using photo editing apps on mobile phones.

  • Tools for facilitators - KEYNOTIMER ®

KEYNOTIMER ® is a visual timer to be inserted in your keynote presentation for workshops exercises, brainstorm sessions, design sprints, presentations, or even daily meetings. No more “how much time left” or “please finish now!”

  • Sailing

Something I always wish to have more time for.
