Born in Lisbon (1979);

grew up in Macau (1982/87);

lived in Milan and Turin (2004/06).

Currently based in Lisbon, Portugal.

I like to envision myself as an interpreter between two opposites:  the left and the right side of the brain; creativity and logic; business and society; design and users; brands and consumers; present and possible futures.

I’m an empathic negotiator and a bridge builder who often wonders between old artifacts and new technologies.

Licentiate in Industrial Design by IADE (Lisbon '01) and Master in Business Design by Domus Academy (Distinction of Merit - Milan '05)

Master thesis: “The Traditional and the Creative Consultancy: McKinsey vs. IDEO. Strategizing for Innovation: Redefining roles and approaches.

In 2000 he began his career as a Designer at Brand & Advise (Lisbon).

In 2005 he moves to the Pininfarina Extra studios (Turin), where he works as a Design Analyst, being responsible for the redefinition of the co-branding strategy of the Pininfarina brand.

Main clients: Gancia Spumante; Mentadent Style Tech Project; 3M Italia.

In 2006 he moves on to BLUG, where he worked as a Brand Strategist, being responsible for the development and implementation of methodologies/tools for the Multisensory Brand Management. In the same year, and in addition to his professional activities, he taught the discipline Brand Management at ISCEM.

Main clients: Identidade sensorial EDP 5D, Carris, Tivoli Hotels & Resorts.

In September 2008, he enters in Brandia Central as Senior Brand Strategist, assuming the functions of Brand Strategy Manager from September 2013 to August 2014.
